RRR 8-9: Bass Ale & Sierra Nevada
Yesterday I had a bitch fest with one of my girlfriends at a bar/restaurant downtown and as we lamented the woes of graduate school, etc. I managed to imbibe a Bass Ale and a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. The Bass was quite tasty and almost has a faint cider aftertaste but the Pale Ale was nothing to write home about. Oh well... At least I got in 2 beers for the day:)

The rumor going around my alma mater (California State University, Chico) is that the sewer pipes in the frats are linked to the Sierra Nevada brewery; Pale Ale is unprocessed Friday Night Toilet Flushings.
It was also $4 a six-pack at the Safeway, so we drank it a lot.
Sweet, all the more tasty and comforting;) haha
I went to CSU-Chico as well. There is none better than SN Pale, in my opinion. I love it.
