That's right boys and girls, we're mere days away from Cinco de Mayo. Despite common misconceptions among Americans who latched onto this day simply for an excuse to drink, it's NOT Mexican Independence Day (September 16th). In actuality, Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of Mexican forces over French occupational forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. So don't just have a beer for Mexico on Saturday, have one to fuck the French too.
