Willie is in

Although Willie is sometime gone for months at a time, he is in. He may be calling in his drinks, as well as "making up" drinks on the weekends or next time he hits a port, but everyone knows that he will more than make up for the weeks of little drink, with months of many drink when he is home.

You can always count on Willie to call you from Hawaii, San Francisco, or some actual far away place to tell you about how wasted he is and giggle about what ever random event is happening on the street in front of him.
